摘要
The recording and interpretation of surface electromyography (SEMG) under functional electrical stimulation (FES) is a useful technique for diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic purposes. However, the stimulus artifact(SA) is a particularly troublesome form of interference. The paper developed a software-based two-level peak detection technique for SA removal. The results showed by repeatedly changing the values of the peak threshold, the entire SA was removed as expectation leaving the uncontaminated SEMG remaining.
