摘要
Focusing on large error and application limitations of the median method and the plural method of extracting initial background frame, this paper introduces an improved method (MEAMO method), and carries on shadow suppression using shadow suppression algorithm based on mixed Gaussian MEAMO method-a combination of the median method and the plural method, improve the performance traditional Gaussian mixture background model. The experiments show that improved moving target detection algorithm makes it more suitable for real-time video monitoring system, and improve the usefulness and accuracy of moving object detection system.
