Long-term monitoring of hazardous volatile organic air pollutants using capillary GC-MS

摘要
The authors investigated a continuous monitoring method for volatile organic air pollutants based on gas chromatography-mass spectrometry with an automatic sample collection system. The collection system comprised two stainless steel canisters and an automatic sample introduction system with a microtrap. The canisters collected sample by turns and provided an average sampling interval, which enabled long-term continuous monitoring with a reasonable number of measurements.
