摘要
We discuss the design and performance of a system of two coherence-multiplexed sensors based on highly birefringent fibers for measuring hydrostatic pressure. Both sensors are temperature compensated. 3M polarizing fiber is used as a linking fiber ensuring the maximum contrast (0.5) for the interference pattern associated with each sensor in the system. A Wollaston prism with step delay line is applied as a decoding interferometer. The results of testing of pressure response within the range of 0-30MPa, temperature stability, and long term stability are presented.
