摘要
To monitor the health of large civil structure in unknown excitation, a new method based on cross-correlation function is firstly applied in extracting structure damage sensitive features from the vibration response signal. Then both Hilbert-Huang spectrum and marginal spectrum analysis based on Hilbert-Huang Transform (HHT) are utilized for damage assessment. The result from the application to a simple supported tower indicates that this method has superiority to structural health monitoring.
