摘要
In order to treat the high chemical oxygen demand (COD) value and poor biodegradability of the pesticide wastewater, granular activated carbon-adsorption process was used to reduce COD. The effects of granular activated carbon dose, agitation time, solution pH and temperature on COD adsorption were investigated. It was found that for pesticide wastewater of high COD concentration (7900 mg/L), equilibrium time of 4 h was required. The removal of COD increased steadily with an increase GAC dose and solution temperature. And lower pH could enhance the adsorption of COD on GAC.
