摘要
A theory of solvated electrons in polar liquids was developed. The electrostatic inhomogeneity of liquids and the ability of molecules to add electrons for a short time to produce unstable anions (resonances with certain energies and lifetimes) were taken into account. Solvated electrons were characterized by the energy distribution density p(el)(E). The experimental dependences of electron photoemission from potassium-ammonia solutions on the energy of photons were interpreted, and the parameters of the energy distribution of solvated electrons were found. It was shown that 70% of the electrons in solution had the photodetachment potential I-VD = 2.3 eV. The photodetachment potential for the other electrons was I-VD = 4.5 eV.
