摘要
A CuBr2 catalyzed synthesis of 3-furylphthalides was accomplished by a dehydrative coupling reaction between phthalaldehydic acids and furans. The devised synthetic procedure has a broad substrate scope and mild reaction conditions and employs a readily available catalyst. (C) 2016 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
