摘要：
We point out that the matter profile effect-the effect of a matter density fluctuation on the baseline-is very important to estimate the parameters in a neutrino factory with a very long baseline, such as L = 7332 km. To make this clear, we propose a method involving a Fourier-series expansion of the matter profile function. (C) 2003 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
