摘要
This work seeks to bring together studies that address the topic of computer simulation in fire safety, through a systematic literature review. The search was carried out in electronic databases of full texts available on the CAPES Periodicals portal: SciELO, ScienceDirect (Elsevier), Academic Search Premier ??? ASP (EBSCO) and Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD). The period defined in the search for bibliographic references was from 2015 to 2021 due to the contemporaneity of scientific knowledge. 207 documents were located, among which 31 were mapped, selected and discussed in this study. Most of the selected documents are scientific articles published in journals, being considered the most relevant and with the most citations: Physica A -Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, Fire Safety Journal and Safety Science. In computer simulation studies of evacuation of people, microscopic mathematical models are the most used. The software most recommended by the scientific community for fire evacuation simulations are PyroSim and Pathfinder. The computational tools listed can help architects and engineers in decision making in face of different situations and design solutions, being one of the recurrent challenges, both for regulations and for research, determining the evacuation time of a building in a fire situation.
