摘要
Studies on plant periphyton were conducted for the Pasleka River in the vicinity of the Kasztanowo water power station in the years 2001-2003. Biomass and the dominant taxa of algae were analyzed in different substrates (macrophyte leaves, stones and concrete substratum) with respect to water physicochemical parameters. The type of substrate could be more significant in the development of plant periphyton than water physicochemical parameters. The highest periphyton biomass was observed in the artificial concrete substratum and the lowest one on the leaves of macrophytes at the highest calcium and silicon concentrations.
