摘要：
Pediatric pulmonary plethysmography is an important tool used in the diagnosis of lung diseases. Understanding the physiology underlying the functioning of the test can aid the health care provider in its interpretation. The following article reviews the basic science behind whole body plethysmography, and provides an overview of the types of plethysmographs available. Finally, the limitations of the available normative values are discussed. (C) 2016 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
