摘要：
The consequences of chronic asthma affect the individual, family, and community in ways that cannot be taken lightly. Although most asthma care rests on the shoulders of the primary care practitioner, it is the specialist who has the background and expertise to inform patients, the medical community, and the public-at-large about standards of therapy and innovations in care. This article reviews pediatric asthma care by the specialist in detail.
