摘要
Under the concussion of short-circuit-current, the temperature of Optical Fiber Composite Overhead Ground Wire(OPGW) will rise and its properties will be affected, this is the problems to be solved in practical engineering. Based on the analysis of the traditional calculation methods for the thermal effect calculation of short circuit current of OPGW, and with the integrated consideration of heat exchange, initial conditions and the skin effect, the new method called improved integration algorithm is given, and the applied software called OPGWTA was developed Several OPGW cables in common use were calculated and analyzed by the software, the results were accord with those of experiment Application shows that the Improved integration algorithm and OPGWTA software, because of its advanced calculated method, completed consideration of factors, precision and practicality, can be conveniently used in the practical OPGW engineering and to supervise the product selection, design and construction, operation and maintenance
