摘要：
The paper is about river management of 225 kilometres of the Meuse in the Netherlands, from the Belgian border to the tidal area. There are seven weirs in this stretch. For integral water management with respect to all the functions on quantity, quality and environment, many adjustments are necessary. The discharge of the Meuse varies much between maximum and minimum. Therefore a distinction has to be made between normal management and management during times of flood, drought or ice.
