摘要
The principle of the observation of 180 degrees ferroelectric domain structure by using the second harmonic generation microscope (SHGM) is described. The SHGM utilizes the interference effect between the second harmonic(SH) wave from up or down polarization domain and that from a uniform SHG plate. The highest contrast can be attained by varying effective optical path-lengths of the SHG plate and the phase plate. The SH image of periodically inverted domains of the quasi-phase match device for wavelength converter is shown.
