摘要
Pyrrole-based tripodal receptors have been synthesized and characterized. The synthesis utilized an unusual direct nucleophilic substitution of tris-(bromomethyl)-2,4,6-trimethybenzene with pyrrole. The anion binding studies indicate that the acetate anion binds preferentially with synthesized receptors over other anions.
