Research on Technology Innovation of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in China

Small and medium enterprises (thereafter SMEs) play an important role in national economic and social development, as well as in fields of technological innovation. In recent years, China's government is trying to enhance the technology innovation ability of SMEs, but there is enormous risk and difficulty in the course of technology innovation for SMEs. This paper analyzes the basic situations and major problem faced by China's SMEs in the course of technology innovation, and points out that the government should develop innovation promoting policies to enhance independent innovation abilities for SMEs.
