摘要
A mass of buildings collapsed during the Wenchuan Earthquake which caused the death of nearly 70000 people. In order to research and prevent the damage to structure, the earthquake damage features of buildings and the method of analyzing the simulation of collapses of structure due to earthquakes are introduced in this paper. Meanwhile, the general finite element software-SAP2000 is used to do the modal analysis of one practice building of Shandong Province. Based on modal analysis, the collapsing process of building is simulated by using Pushover analysis method. The simulation result are shown as follow: (1) Complex collapsing process of building can be simulated and analyzed by selecting correct module and parameter; (2) Through recurring the collapsing process, we can find the weak link in the structure subjected to an earthquake, which can not only develops earthquake resistance of structures, but also provides a full technology support in building earthquake resistance systems.
