摘要
The paper presents a preliminary laboratory study of homogenous advanced oxidation with hydrogen peroxide of some industrial effluents containing the organic Procion Gelb H-E4R dye into different operational conditions. It was elaborated an empirical model (i.e. experimental planning by a third order central composite rotatable design 2(3) type) for the homogeneous oxidation process, considering as independent variables: X-1 - hydrogen peroxide concentration (C-H2O2,C- mol l(-1)), X-2 -ferrous ions concentration (CFe2+, mol l(-1)) and X-3 - operational time (t, min) while total colour removal (Y-1, %) and dye removal (Y-2, %) efficiencies were chosen as optimisation criteria. The mathematical model was adequate for the chemical effluent treatment and the optimal operational conditions for the highest decoloration efficiency were proposed.
