摘要
In additive manufacturing technology, most significant technology is fused deposition modeling. This fabricates the 3D object by depositing material layer over layer with help of computer numerical control. The important limitation is that FDM is not availability of variety of material. Currently available material can be fabricating only prototype models. Recently researcher, researching on development of new material to improve the strength of the fabricating parts to use functional applications. This creates interest for number of researcher to involve in material development. Number of researcher investigated to on composite materials, used reinforcement materials such as natural fiber, ceramic, metal powders were used. This article presented to review the development of materials so far and scopes for development of new material. (c) 2021 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
