Dynamic behaviour of Ni-containing catalysts during partial oxidation of methane to synthesis gas

摘要
A dynamic behaviour (oscillations and temperature waves) is observed during a partial oxidation of methane over metal Ni-containing catalysts. The analysis of kinetic features suggests that oxygen and carbon stored in the catalyst play an important role in the appearance of such phenomena.
