摘要
In order to suppress the voltage fluctuations in the distribution system caused by expansion of photovoltaic (PV) power generation in the future, Volt-var control is expected to enable more flexible reactive power control than fixed power factor control provided by PV smart inverters. Based on the fixed power factor control that is currently applied to both large-scale high-voltage PV and small-scale low-voltage PV inverters in Japan, the Volt-var setting method is proposed for high-voltage PV smart inverters. Then, the time series simulation shows the possibility of reducing the reactive power output of the low-voltage PV inverter while coordinating with the SVR operation by applying volt-var control of the high-voltage PV inverters.
