摘要
As a composite additive, Bi2O3-Nb2O5 is promising for regulating the microstructure and magnetic properties of ferrite crystals. Hence, the material can be better used in the production of microwave RF devices. Herein, the influence of different mass fractions of Bi2O3-Nb2O5 additive on the microstructure and magnetic properties of LiZn ferrites, sintered at different temperatures, is systematically investigated. The properties of ferrite can be adjusted by adding appropriate additives. By adding 0.5 wt% Bi2O3 and sintering at 1050 degrees C, Li0.43Z- n0.27Ti0.13Fe2.17O4 ferrites obtain a compact microstructure and a typical spinel structure. In addition, with the introduction of Bi2O3-Nb2O5 additive, the saturation magnetization intensity reaches a maximum value of 50.13 emu/g and the 4 pi Ms value reaches 2907.22 Gauss. Meanwhile, the saturation magnetization intensity (Bs) of the sample reaches 311 mT, magnetic remanence (Br) reaches 248.4 mT and coercivity (Hc) decreases to 109.8 A/m. These results reveal that an appropriate amount of Bi2O3-Nb2O5 can regulate the microstructure and magnetic properties of LiZn ferrites, which shows well potential in the manufacture of microstrip line antennas, phase shifters and other microwave RF devices.
