摘要
Saline intrusion causes a water shortage for domestic use in some coastal cities due to climate change affecting the Viet Nam Mekong Delta. Vulnerability analysis of urban water supply by integrating social and environmental factors of Rach Gia city. Using an analytical hierarchical process (AHP) as a method of mapping multi-criteria decisions, vulnerability is measured in terms of exposure, sensitivity, and adaptive capacity. Evaluation results show that the wards of VinhThanh, VinhThanh Van and VinhBao are the most vulnerable areas, while the wards of VinhQuang and PhiThong are among the least vulnerable regions in the city. This study is an attempt to mapping the vulnerability due to saline intrusion to the urban domestic water supply. Spatial analysis results supporting the identify priorities policy at the commune level to mitigate vulnerability and improving awareness, response-ability also to saline intrusion at the coastal urban of Vietnam.
