Korean species of the coastal genus Halorhadinus Sawada, 1971 (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Aleocharinae), with a description of new species

A taxonomic study of the coastal genus Halorhadinus Sawada, 1971 in Korea is presented. Five species, including a new species, Halorhadinus koreanus sp. nov., are recognized. Three species, H. aequalis Sawada, 1971, H. masakazui Ono & Maruyama, 2014, and H. satoi Ono & Maruyama, 2014, are new to the Korean fauna. A key and a comparison of morphological features of Korean Halorhadinus species with illustrations of diagnostic characters are provided.
