摘要
We study exclusive B decays to final states containing a charmed baryon within the pole model framework. Since the strong coupling for Lambda(b)(B) over barN is larger than that for Sigma(b)(B) over barN, the two-body charmful decay B--->Sigma(c)(0)(p) over bar has a rate larger than (B) over bar (0)-->Lambda(c)(+)(p) over bar as the former proceeds via the Lambda(b) pole while the latter via the Sigma(b) pole. By the same token, the three-body decay (B) over bar (0)-->Sigma(c)(++)(p) over bar pi(-) receives less of a baryon-pole contribution than B--->Lambda(c)(+)(p) over bar pi(-). However, because the important charmed-meson pole diagrams contribute constructively to the former and destructively to the latter, Sigma(c)(++)(p) over bar pi(-) has a rate slightly larger than Lambda(c)(+)(p) over bar pi(-). It is found that one-quarter of the B--->Lambda(c)(+)(p) over bar pi(-) rate comes from the resonant contributions. We discuss the decays (B) over bar (0)-->Sigma(c)(0)(p) over bar pi(+) and B--->Sigma(c)(0)(p) over bar pi(0) and stress that they are not color suppressed even though they can only proceed via an internal W emission.
