摘要
Indonesia is the largest archipelago that consists of 17,508 islands and around 6,000 of which are inhabited. These islands are mountainous with dense rainforests. This geographical condition leads to the digital divide between urban areas with rural or remote areas. A government body provides internet access services for the frontier, outermost, and least developed regions to minimize the digital divide. This research proposes the application to determine the travel duration of logistics delivery as one of the tolerance factors in service level calculation. The application uses several APIs and libraries in Google Maps Platform to determine the optimum route and mode of transport between a remote site to the province's capital, e.g. Directions API, Geocoding API, and Places API. The application has functionally complied with the objective: handles different input types, determine the optimum route, write the optimum route for all sites in the input file into an output file (.xlsx or.csv), and display the optimum route for a manually inputted site.
