摘要
Phase transformation and microstructural changes in a furnace-cooled eutectoid Zn-Al based alloy were investigated during mechanical milling. A four-phase transformation and decomposition of a metastable n(FC)' phase occurred during milling. The lamellar structure was destroyed into a fine grain structure by decomposition of the eta(FC)' phase. The mechanism of the structural change was different from that induced by tensile-creep stress.
