A non-experimental research at field and laboratory was performed in order to determine organochlorine pesticides ( OCPs) in soil samples from the river valley Tucutunemo Samples were taken between 25 and 30 cm deep in five locations with three replications, located approximately every 3 Km,. The samples were dried at ambient for three days and sieved in sieve with 1 mm mesh. 2000 and ISO / IEC 17025: 6630 and methodology 99-B / C, as described in: Standard Method for the Analysis of Water and Wastewater-APHA AWWA for the determination of pesticides, the 2534 standards were used COVENIN -WPCF, issue No. 17 (1989). We considered 14 POC common of which were detected: aldrin, 4,4'-DDE and 4,4'DDT. The rest, recorded concentrations < 0.02 mg / kg. The variance analysis of the results shows significant differences ( p 0.05) from the mean concentrations of POC in different locations. It is concluded that POC is present in agricultural soils Tucutunemo Valley, in varying concentrations, highlighting the locality 1, 24.8 mg / kg of aldrin, 4,4'-DDE and 4,4'-DDT, although the results are below the regulation established by the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, however, these values could serve as a reference for future research. Moreover, the physical analysis of these soils, show that soils are fertile, with silty-clay-loam, good percentage of organic matter and pH close to 7
