Orthogonal expansion is an important tool in analyzing signals. This paper discusses the recently defined generalized DFT (GDFT) and the. generalized real-valued DFT (GRDFT) in terms of polynomial expansion, and some-related properties are also derived. However this paper does not intend to discuss any particular application.
