History of the city as well as contemporary architectonic incidence in the centre of the city has big influence on preconditions of tourism. Therefore we identified trip tourism and transit tourism as relevant forms of tourism, which is completing fair and congress tourism in the city. Development of tourism is positively influenced by presence of special organization of tourism in Nitra. Establishment of image, that would reflect the specialty of the city, has extraordinary importance. (Besides the existing fair tourism) Historical and religion events, mainly linked with christanizators of Europe, are convenient alternative.
