摘要
This paper presents the design and simulation of a high-gain Antenna by using a Fabry-Perot cavity (FPC) in millimeter-wave (MMW) applications. The FPC antenna is formed by locating a frequency selective surfaces (FSS) above a slot antenna that operates at 28 GHz and fed by a printed ridge-gap waveguide (PRGW). Moreover, the bandwidth of the proposed slot antenna is enhanced using a novel design of the semi-cross slot. The simulation results show the optimized antenna design can cover impedance bandwidth from 27.77 GHz to 28.42 GHz with a high realized gain of about 20.45 dBi at 28 GHz.
