摘要
Small and medium-sized enterprises are an important force and source for economic growth and employment. Facing the global economy depression, governments search for the solution to prevent economic decline. They find promote the development of small and medium-sized enterprises can alleviate unemployment and economic depression. The policy of three direct links of trade, mail, air and shipping between China Mainland and Taiwan provides for an unprecedented opportunity to the Chinese nation economic development. This paper attempts to compare four sides of SMEs, such as the definition, absorbing labor force contribution to employment, industrial structure of small and medium-sized enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprise policy support. Suggest local government taking advantage of attracting and bidding investment from Taiwan and mainland to optimize industrial structure and provide small and medium-sized enterprises two-sides investment choices.
