An improved method of calculating the peak stress distribution for a broad-band random process

摘要
An improved method of fast fatigue life prediction under broad-band random loading is proposed, which is based on the power spectral density of stress in the critical points of structures and the peak stress distribution of a stationary Gaussian random process. The improved method has higher precision than other existing approximate methods that are based on the peak stress distribution.
