Examples of Banach algebras over commutative Banach algebras of given homological dimension

摘要：
We prove that, for every natural number n, there exists a unital semisimple Banach star algebra A and a closed star subalgebra B of the centre of A, different from C, such that the global B-homological dimension and the B-homological bidimension of A are both equal to n. The algebras A and B can be taken to be function algebras.
