Lungenkarzinome stellen weltweit die haufigste Krebserkrankung mit der hochsten Sterblichkeitsrate dar. Behandlungsverlauf und Prognose der Betroffenen hangen dabei ma ss geblich vom Erkrankungsstadium bei Therapiebeginn ab. Al Khayat et al. haben die Kosten-Effektivitat eines Screenings auf Lungenkarzinome in den Niederlanden modelliert.
