摘要
The radiation-chemical decomposition of n-hexane in the Al-n-hexane system under the action of gamma radiation was studied by reflectance-absorption IR spectroscopy. The radiolysis of n-hexane on the surface of aluminum at absorbed doses of 5 kGy a parts per thousand currency sign D (gamma) a parts per thousand currency sign 40 kGy was accompanied by the formation of aluminum alkyls, pi-complexes of olefins, and aluminum hydrides. The kinetics of the accumulation of molecular hydrogen was analyzed to determine its radiation-chemical yield, G (ads) (H-2) = 29.6 molecules/100 eV. A possible mechanism of this process is discussed.
