FROM CAREER COMPETENCY TO SKILLED EMPLOYEES' CAREER SUCCESS IN CHINA: THE MODERATING EFFECTS OF PERCEIVED ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT

摘要
With skilled employees are playing more and more important role in the world's economic construction, scholars pay more and more attention to their career development issues. Career competency provides a clear career management pattern to the organization and skilled employees, on the one hand, skilled employees can choose their career paths according to their career competencies; on the other hand, organizations can improve skilled employees' job involvement through increasing their career competencies, thus encourage their career success. The data was collected from 640 railway skilled employees, the results showed that there was positive and significant correlation between career competency and career success, and the relationship between career competency and subjective career success was moderated by perceived organizational support.
