摘要
We review the recent developments in the theory of heavy quarkonium decays. The conventional perturbative QCD approach and singlet model are discussed. Factorization theorem is introduced that clarified the unfactorizable infrared divergence problem. Equivalently the problem can be formulated within the framework of nonrelativistic QCD (NRQCD) effective field theory. The calculations of the quarkonium decay rates in this approach are summarized.
