摘要
The occurrence and fate of triclosan (TCS) were investigated in a large- scale constructed wetland (CW), Wu River CW, China. TCS was detected in all the process units of CW. The TCS data showed clear attenuation during both sampling periods, with removal efficiency of over 70% and 90% in winter and spring, respectively. Estimated daily input of TCS from Wu River CW to downstream water resources was 73.96 and 10.34 g d- 1 for winter and spring, respectively. Therefore, although CWs can remove TCS effectively, it can also be an important source of TCS to downstream. And this threat must be paid worldwide attention, especially in winter.
