摘要：

This paper introduces the Spanish Chapter of the IEEE Education Society, the CESEI, and its main activities. Along the years since its appearance, the CESEI has developed several initiatives devoted to promote the development of engineering education using new information and communication technologies. Publications and participation in relevant conferences have attracted the main efforts, but also the awards provided to the best student academic works is a remarkable action. It deserves special attention the activities performed in cooperation with the student branches, because they have been very fruitful. The paper describes all these initiatives and discusses about future actions.
