摘要
The novel severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2, first discovered in December 2019, has presented with many challenges, impacting individuals globally with many requiring ICU admission and the need for invasive mechanical ventilation secondary to severe acute respiratory distress syndrome. To facilitate appropriate ventilator management, pain and sedation strategies as well as neuromuscular blocking agents are often utilized.
