摘要
TiO2 with novel microspherical-like faveolate structure was synthesized by mango peels as template and their photoactivity for the degradation Gentian violet (GV) and Rhdamine B (RB) under solar light was studied for the first time. The samples were characterized by a combination of various physicochemical techniques, such as SEM, N-2 adsorption/desorption, diffuse reflectance UV-Vis, X-ray diffraction, and FT-IR. Moreover, for the first time it was found that TiO2 exhibited significant photoactivities for gentian violet (71%) and Rhdamine B (39%).
