Multi-disciplinary design optimization of the Plate Fin Heat Sink

摘要
The multi-parameter constraint structural optimization procedure based on the combination algorithms of DOE, RSM,GA MOST and CFD, are carried out on the Plate Fin Heat Sink for the minimization of the rate of entropy generation. With the help of data that are established in the process of optimization the overall thermal and fluid performances of the Plate Fin Heat Sink are explored and two correlations concerning Nusselt number and friction factor as the functions of geometrical and operational parameters are developed by the multivariate nonlinear regression analysis. Specific expressions of thermal resistance and the rate of entropy generation are offered. Results coincide with the followed analyses and related documents.
