摘要
Tribochemical treatment of waste-additive mixtures was used in an attempt to improve the efficiency of self-sustaining high-temperature synthesis of ceramics for immobilisation of operational nuclear power plant radioactive wastes. Good quality ceramics were produced with significant diminution of volatile nuclide carryovers from 12.5 to 3 wt.% achieved when the tribochemical treatment was used.
