Special features of measurements of the ac and dc current conductivity of ice

摘要
An analysis of the available experimental and theoretical data on the ac and do conductivity of ice in the temperature range from 0 to -25 degreesC was performed. It was demonstrated that the do conductivity of ice is determined by the concentration of H+ ions, while the ac conductivity depends on the dielectric permittivity and the frequency of the current. At frequencies below 100 Hz, ice rectifies electric current. A tentative interpretation of the mechanism of ice conduction at superhigh pressures was presented.
