摘要
In this Comment, Riquelme and Gjorgjieva describe why and how individual researchers and the broader neuroscientific community should aim to improve code readability in the field. Code has become central to neuroscience, and the neuroscience community must take steps to ensure its reproducibility and best coding practices. Improving code readability benefits individual researchers and the wider neuroscience community.
