摘要
In this work, half-duplex decode-and-forward (DF) relay based interference management techniques are investigated for the Rayleigh-faded two-user asymmetric interference network in which one user does not receive interfering signal. The DF relay forwards the signal received from the interfering transmitter towards both the intended and unintended receivers. Relaying improves the reliability of the signal detection at intended receiver. Also, relaying enhances the interference level at unintended receiver, and the unintended receiver uses the successive interference canceler (SIC) to cancel the interference. Half-duplex selective DF (SDF) protocol is also investigated. Diversity gain regions (DGRs) of the DF and SDF protocols are derived, and these DGRs are compared with that of the direct transmission. In direct transmission protocol, the interference-limited receiver cancels the interference using the signals received from the direct link alone. For different interference levels, the multiplexing gains where the SEW protocol attains better reliability of signal detection than direct transmission are presented.
