摘要
Conventional Hyperthermia Method is still used for cancer treatment by heating whole body or specific parts of it. Current form of this method includes some possible negative consequences like destroying healthy cells. In this work, a new approach for Hyperthermia method based on magnetocaloric effect has been offered to solve these problems. In order to bring practical use of this new approach, appropriate properties of magnetocaloric material for Hyperthermia method have been determined. These parameters are magnetic entropy change, adiabatic temperature change, the Curie temperature and Full Width at Half Maximum. In accordance with these parameters, some example materials obtained from the literature are listed. Additional parameters also play a role in determining the material and possible ways to obtain new materials have been reported. (C) 2021 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
